The Fighting cocks was originally built as a farm cottage over 300 years ago these premises became an "ale house" for the local community with "cock fighting" (the karaoke of the day!) taking place in the adjacent barn, The original building was rebuilt and extended in 1969 after being almost totally destroyed by a fire.

The old atmosphere is now combined with a comfortable, relaxing, quality bar and restaurant.
Today the main bar area has seating for those wishing to dine, and comfortable relaxing chairs for those wishing to linger over a drink. The family dining area can accommodate up to 60 people, while the adult only conservatory dining area can accommodate up to 50 people. We also have a small separate function room which can accommodate up to 25 people (ideal for meeting and private occasions).
